Once upon a time I was invited by Dan Lynn's to attend our monthly storytelling meeting. I have to admit, my curiosity was Pete as I had never received an invitation to join such a group. Five years later, and I find myself thrilled to share about my experience! Upon arrival, everyone is greeted with the warm and welcoming smile. Members of the group take turns sharing stories filled with both real life experiences, as well as those that are completely fabricated. Dan will typically share of mythical Irish details, while others, share stories of their own personal backgrounds. Each meeting I am intrigued with one woman's stories. She shares about her travels to various different countries. You see, her goal is to visit as many countries as possible in her lifetime. Her storytelling ability is one that makes you feel as though you are on the journey with her, as if you are experiencing exactly what she is. Attendees are welcome to share stories during each meeting, however, individuals may prefer to sit and listen. Who knows? Perhaps they too will find themselves participating as well. I never thought I would, but now I look forward to sharing a tail or two. I encourage anyone who may have an interest to join us! We are a great group of individuals from diverse backgrounds, that have some interesting stories to share!
